AIM & SCOPE

Journal of Innovation in Computer Science and Engineering (JICSE) is a scholarly peer-reviewed biannually fully refereed international journal focusing on innovative concepts, original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Fairness and transparency of the review process are pursued by traditional and innovative means, including the possibility of reviewers of accepted papers to disclose their identity and publish a brief commentary together with the article.

It will aim to attract and solicit high-quality original research papers in all aspects of computational materials science and engineering with special emphasis on the most current topics of interest to the associated research communities.

The scope of Journal of Innovation in Computer Science and Engineering (JICSE) is covers all areas of Computer & Information Sciences, Applications & Engineering system in computer & Information Science. The core vision of JICSE is to serve as platform for innovativeness in Information Technology and Computer Science.

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Communiqué

Journal of Innovations in Computer Science & Engineering (JICSE) is published at Ibrahimpatnam, Telangana State, India and it is distributed throughout the country including other parts of the world. The journal follows the highest standards in terms of quality in research content as the Editorial Board is comprises of well qualified experts from around the world. Journal of Innovations in Computer Science & Engineering (JICSE) has four components, the publisher, the editors, the reviewers, and the authors. These components must follow the high norms of ethics and moral values while accepting the manuscripts for publication. No adjustments will be considered in selecting the quality of articles for publication. The journal follows righteous benchmark quality to publish the articles through double peer reviewed, proof reading free from negligence or misconduct.

The publication ethics and malpractice account as stated by the Scopus is followed by four components of the journal. The journal imparts knowledge sharing with the researchers, authors and students to comply the norms of ethical standards before submitting the articles for review. The journal galvanizes contributors to submit research articles addressing pure theoretical to multidisciplinary applications in medical and health care, agriculture, society based problems, education sector etc. using the streams of Computer Science & Engineering.

The journal published by the publisher preserves the highest orders of quality, composed of Editorial Board having experts from divergent places. There is a committee known as The Publication Ethics Committee (PEC) to guide the editors and publisher on publication ethics and malpractices.

Editorial Board:

• There is an Editorial Board comprising of members having rich subject knowledge and technical experience in their respective fields.
• The complete names and affiliations with addresses of the members are mentioned on the Journal website. Also contact information of editorial office is mentioned on the webpage of the Journal.
• The editorial board members follow high ethical standard in pursuing research, guiding young researchers and submitting articles for peer-review process.
• The accepting or rejecting of a manuscript is the Editors' responsibility and authority based on technical and ethical content.
• The Editors must discharge their duties without discriminating on the grounds of sexual, religious bias, political beliefs, ethnicity and nationality of the authors.
• Confidentiality of authors must be maintained by editors while communicating the papers to the evaluators and on the other way round.
• Based on the reviewers' report on the submitted articles, the editors may accept or reject the articles in its original form, or may accept after modifications from the author(s). ln any such case, the author(s) should be informed about the decision taken by the editors.
• lf the submitted article is not following ethical standards and is supporting malpractice, then the submitted manuscript shall be rejected immediately.

Authors Responsibilities:

• The manuscript processing fee and instructions can be made available on the website or the journal. Based on the above, the authors will prepare and submit the manuscripts for peer-review process.
• It is compulsory that authors’ manuscripts must be subjected to blind two peer-review.
• The submitted article must have significant research contribution.
• It is mandatory to provide explanations by authors for retractions or improvements of the manuscripts as asked by the editors or publisher.
• Authors must guarantee all the diagrams, tables, data used are real, authentic and not copied from any other source. lf, it is found that the violation of ethics and research misconduct is carried out by authors, then the articles will be turned down instantly.
• The authors must submit the original work for the publication. lf, it is found that submitted research materials have been falsified by manipulating data or experiments or the outcomes of the results, then such cases will be dealt seriously. The Editorial Board will decide the course of action to be considered in this regard and their decision will be final.
• The authors must send articles to the editor through email and wait for the reviewer's comments. Submission of same article to other journas at the same time is considered to be a serious misbehavior by the authors.

Peer-review Process

• The peer-reviewers must maintain utmost secrecy and avoid conflict of interest while reviewing the manuscript(s).
• All the manuscripts must be subjected to double blind peer-reviewed by eminent experts in their respective field. The above point must be mentioned on the webpage of the Journal.
• The reviewers should not reveal any content of the articles at any platform.
• The articles should be judged by the reviewers based on the technical content, logical sequences and quality based approach so that there will be scope for the authors to improve the quality of their manuscripts.
• The publisher must maintain confidentiality of the reviewed articles.
• If reviewer feels that he/she is not interested to review article as it does not match with his research area, then he/she should inform the same to the editors immediately to exclude him/her from the review process.

Publication Ethics

• It is the duty of the Publisher and Editors to take steps in identifying and preventing the publication of papers with research misconduct. In no case, the editors must encourage or allow publication of articles with research misconduct.
• If any research misconduct allegation is brought to the notice, then the editors or publisher must take suitable and quick action against the authors of the submitted articles.
• The journal has proper guidelines for the authors to retract or correct the articles in well defined time frame. The corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies will be published by the publishers and editors now and then.

Plagiarism

• The journal publishes original articles from the authors. Articles must be free from any form of plagiarism. The articles recommended for publication should be checked for plagiarism by applying standard plagiarism tools.
• Any form of plagiarism including self plagiarism should not be tolerated by the reviewers, editors and publishers.
• If found guilty, the matter will be taken over by the Editorial Board. The Editorial Board’s decision will be final to take appropriate action against authors who have submitted the manuscripts.

Copyright and Access

• The web page of the journal must contain information about the licensing and copyright procedures.
• The titles and following abstracts of the paper along with affiliation of the authors will be displayed on the website of the journal.
• The back volumes of the journals will be made available on the payment to the publisher either in softcopy or hardcopy.

Archiving & Website

• In case the journal is no longer published, the back volumes of the journal with articles will be placed on the website in electronic backup mode. There will be a fee to download the article(s) or back volume(s) of the journal.
• The web site of the journal is developed in highly professional manner. It is assured that the text on the web site of the journal is not repeated or copied from elsewhere. A high standard of ethical and professionalism have been maintained in developing the website of the journal.
• All the published articles shall be accessible from the website of the journal in original and unaltered form. But it is possible that based on the circumstances articles may be removed or retracted for correction.
• The website shall not be misused for other purposes other than information about the journal.

Ownership and management

• The details of the owner or management of the journal is clearly mentioned on the website of the journal.
• The publisher must not use organizational names at any circumstance to the potential authors. This will mislead authors, reviewers and editors about the nature of the journal’s owner.

Publishing Schedule

• The publication date twice in a year is fixed. The publishing months are June and December as the same year.

Alert Services through email

• The journal offers a free email alert service notification for every call for papers, special issues, conferences and publication schedule. The notifications should be communicated by genuine email ids of the potential authors.
• The publisher ensures the confidentiality of email accounts of the potential users. The forwarding of email accounts of the users to other organizations or individual or groups for any another purpose is strictly prohibited.

Author Guidelines

The Journal of Innovation in Computer Science and Engineering (JICSE) is bi-annual journal. All the selected papers are published in print and online along with the details of the issue in which the paper is actually published.

1. Manuscripts are to be submitted to Editor-in-Chief through mail only. Please submit the Manuscript as MS Word file along with the copy right form.

2. Submission of a manuscript to JICSE indicates a understanding that the paper is not under consideration for publications with other journals.

3. Once the paper is accepted, all the authors should send the copyright form duly signed by them to process further in JICSE. If any copyrighted material is used by the author, the author must take permission for the same.

4. The authors must make corrections to the articles based on the reviewers' comments. The corrected version of the articles must be resent to the editor within the stipulated time mentioned by the editor/reviewer.

5. All the papers are refereed and acknowledged. Once accepted they will not be returned. However, if any of the authors requires copy of the same, they can either download it from JICSE site, or send Email to the editor.

6. Strictly Paper has to be submitted in the specified format only. However, if you face any problem in downloading the prescribed format, you may even use the format of your own. But the final paper has to be submitted in the prescribed format only.
