The receivers used with radar systems, particularly those operating in the microwave region, are usually characterized by two special properties. In
the first place it is important to be able to deal with the weakest possible signal, which may be comparable to or even weaker than the noise in the
system. In the second place the signals with which the receiver must deal are pulses covering an extremely wide dynamic range. Accordingly, wide-band
circuits are required, and extraordinarily severe requirements are placed on the transient behavior of the whole receiving system. Simulation is done
using Genesys software and then components are tested and integrated to find the final output.
